We always know we’re in for a lot of work during the fall months, due to a number of events, and this year was absolutely the most action-packed September in our history. The Street Rodder Road Tour passed through on Thursday, the 5th, then we had the Chattanooga Cruise In on Saturday, the 7th, and then the Glidden Tour festivities here in Chattanooga the following week. Let’s look a little closer at the Chattanooga Cruise In and check out all the cool stuff that rolled in!
Our buddy Chuck Welch is a huge supporter of the Chattanooga Cruise In and his Chevy pickup has been in attendance for all of our cruise in events.
We love the looks of Keith Colby’s roadster pickup, which rolls on a set of Rocket Wheels and Coker whitewall radials.
A crew of hot rods came from the Nashville area. this clean Model A sedan belongs to Ben Smithson, who is formerly from Nashville, now residing in Huntsville, Alabama.
It was certainly a great day to be topless, and this traditionally-dressed Mercury did just that.
It’s hard to beat a Deuce roadster with a Flathead!
Here are a couple more open-air cruisers…these guys got the perfect parking spots in front of our shop!
DeWayne Guffey’s Model A pickup is just too cool! Love those tall and skinny tires and wheels!
The McMichen’s came all the way from Woodstock, Georgia to display their awesome front engine dragster. There are pictures floating around the internet of this thing doing a massive wheelstand!
Our award (ok it’s not REALLY an award) for baddest Model A on the property goes to Zach Whitlock with his heavily-chopped highboy built by Ricky Bobby’s Rod Shop. This car, as well as the black Model A in the background traveled from Nashville.
LOOKS LIKE A NICE SHOW, LOVE HONEST CHARLIE STUFF
